PROGRAMS.
We run 3 basic programs in Puerto Vallarta:
1. SCHOOL BREAKFAST
PROGRAM / HOT MEALS PROGRAM.
We feed breakfast to 1,500 children before they enter their classrooms, each
morning Monday through Friday, in 8 schools (12 school shifts). We also feed
500 “hot meals” each day to children after school in the poor
areas surrounding the city dump.

2. SCHOOL OF
CHAMPIONS.
We operate an after school program called the “School of Champions”
located in our own building, 2 blocks from the entrance to the dump and a
new campus in
Volcanes, a colonia 20 minutes inland from the dump. We offer classes in Math,
Computer and English to approximately 180 students in grade 3 through 6, from
4
to 6 pm each school day. We will expand the program from 10 am to 12 pm each
morning to include students who attend the 2nd shift in the primary schools,
and
later in the year we will add students from the middle school who have attended
our program when they were in primary school.

3. DAY CARE
CENTERS.
We operate and subsidize 9 day care centers for the children of poor families
from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Each center has a capacity
of 25
children ages 3 ½ months to 3 ½ years of age. The children are
fed two full, nutritious meals and a snack each day. All baby supplies including
diapers are included.
